Editorial Standards
DNPA Code of Ethics
Adarsh Hindustan follows editorial principles for accuracy, fairness, corrections and responsible reporting.
Compliance with Law
We aim to comply with applicable laws, platform rules and lawful directions governing digital news publishing in India. Editorial staff should avoid content that knowingly violates legal restrictions, court orders or statutory obligations.
Editorial Independence
We aim to publish accurate, fair and independent journalism that separates news, opinion and advertising.
Editorial decisions should not be influenced by advertisers, political pressure or undisclosed conflicts of interest.
Accuracy and Verification
Reporters and editors should verify facts, seek relevant context and avoid misleading presentation.
Anonymous sources should be used with care and only when their identity is protected for a legitimate reason.
Corrections, Right of Reply and Takedown
Material errors should be corrected promptly and transparently once verified.
Requests for right of reply, correction or takedown are reviewed on editorial, legal and public-interest grounds.
Respect for Intellectual Property
We respect copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. Third-party material should be used only with permission, lawful basis, proper attribution, or another valid editorial justification.
Sensitive Reporting
Coverage involving children, sexual violence, grief, communal tension, self-harm or other sensitive subjects requires additional care.
Names, images and identifying details should be withheld when publication may cause avoidable harm or violate law.
Privacy and Dignity
The newsroom should balance public interest with individual privacy and dignity. Personal information, images or identities should not be published unnecessarily, especially when vulnerable people are involved.
Grievance Redressal
Demo Grievance Officer can be contacted at grievance@adarshhindustan.example.
Grievance submissions should include the URL, publication date, concern summary and relevant supporting material.
Training and Accountability
Editors, reporters and contributors should be trained on accuracy, corrections, privacy, conflicts of interest and legal risk. Repeated or serious breaches should be reviewed by senior editorial leadership.
